的 学生的行为 Office protects the integrity and safety of the 科林大学 community by ensuring that:

 

1. 的 Student Code of Conduct is upheld 由 student body;
2. Students are able to learn and faculty are able to teach in a comfortable, safe environment that is free from disruptions;
3. Students are held accountable for their behavior;
4. Students' rights are upheld and 科林大学's policies and procedures are followed;
5. 的 academic integrity of 科林大学 is maintained; and
6. Students involved in the disciplinary process are treated in a fair and consistent 的方式.

科林大学 students are members of an academic community and are expected to abide 由 Student Code of Conduct. As stated in the Student Code of Conduct, "科林大学 expects its students to conduct themselves in a 的方式 that reflects credit upon the institution they represent" (2023-2024 科林大学 Student Handbook, p. 91). T在这里fore, it is each student's responsibility to be familiar with the Student Code of Conduct, which can be found in the current 科林大学 Student Handbook. All students are expected to read and comply with the Student Code of Conduct.

科林大学’s Student Disciplinary Process is an administrative process, 不 a criminal justice process. 的 purpose of this process is to assist students with understanding how their behavior may have violated 科林大学’s standards or affected the entire academic community. 的 Student Disciplinary Process is 不 intended to be adversarial 在自然界中. Rather, the focus is on helping students learn to make responsible decisions and become aware that poor choices have consequences.

被欺侮 is a criminal violation under Texas law and is prohibited at 科林大学, on 科林大学 property, or while attending 科林大学-sponsored activities on or off campus.

Engaging in scholastic dishonesty deprives students of the opportunity to learn important academic concepts, undermines 科林大学's institutional integrity, and devalues students' degrees. Scholastic dishonesty, in any form, is 不 tolerated at 科林大学 and will be addressed appropriately through the Student Disciplinary Process.
